Richmond Texas Real Estate

Rolling hills covered in lush oak tree foliage set Richmond apart from any other city in the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area. The county seat of Fort Bend County, Richmond is a small town encompassing a total land area of roughly 4 square miles. Aside from verdant landscapes, Richmond is home to most of Fort Bend County’s local government offices, and prides itself for being the historic center of the county.

Richmond is home to a plethora of shopping and entertainment options that suit approximately 12,020 residents (according to 2014 estimates) just fine. Green spaces are abundant as well, and school-aged children have access to highly rated schools in the area.

You can find Richmond west of Sugar Land and Houston, stretching along the banks of the Brazos River. US 59 (Southwest Freeway) and SH 99 (Grand Parkway) are located nearby.
